Jeff-

That's what I hope is happening! The 'kids' are doing a lot of their challenges via Instagram, seems like my daughter has been watching them non-stop for weeks now.

Maybe those in water challenged areas could donate their swimming pool water to the cause? :underchair:

Sieg,
If you deny the challenge, you do nothing. The "jerk" thing to do.
If you accept the challenge, you must dump a bucket of ice/water over your head AND donate $10 within 24 hours.
If you do not dump the bucket and donate withing 24 hours, you must donate $100.

Just clearing it up for you, you are still supposed to donate $10 when you do the bucket challenge. It keeps you from having to donate $100 if you don't do the challenge.

Thanks!

The younger kids appear to have no clue as to the 'official' rules, if they had to abide by them they couldn't afford to play........as is they are being educated and creating a lot of awareness to those that can afford it.

I had my daughter watch this video yesterday and she was asking a lot of questions. Now she knows and will share with her generation.

Just use discretion on whom you challenge...

You never know how it will affect them.

In all seriousness, it does raise awareness of a horrible disease and funds for research which is a good thing.

Not to take away from ALS but a slight turn in the challenge. Donations have been made : )
