Yea mine doesn't have those either. Just tabs, no reinforcement.

Rick's may have changed the design to no bulkheads (stock tanks do not have them.)
For the corner pickups, I can't comment since I don't know why they are not included. However, even without them module performance is excellent. |

The baffles were removed to save weight as Stainless is heavy and because they were unnecessary, as Carl stated, the pickups do the job perfectly of draining the tank DRY! :innocent: Rick's has not raised their prices in 5 years and they have seen many price increases in cost of materials so the savings in a few pieces of baffling are nothing really. Have confidence guys, the Vaporworx system is still the TOP fuel delivery system in the business! Thanks Matt |
I have a vaporworx module in a tank with no baffles or corner pickups.
I had no fuel starvation on the street right up until I ran out of gas... I've done two track days with it now and the recent track day I was down to around 1/8th of a tank and still no fuel starvation issues. That is on a track with several really long high G corners too (~1g+ lasting 15 seconds). |
