Yea mine doesn't have those either. Just tabs, no reinforcement.

Rick's may have changed the design to no bulkheads (stock tanks do not have them.)

For the corner pickups, I can't comment since I don't know why they are not included. However, even without them module performance is excellent.

No baffling is needed for the VaporWorx fuel module design. There will be bulkheads where the tank straps surround the body shell.

With the module and corner pickup arrangement the tank will be truly empty when it's out of fuel. Several members have run out fuel on-track due to the tank running dry. The setup is so effective that many folks simply forget about the fuel system.

I just spoke with Hector at Rick's Tanks. What Carl stated is 100% correct, of course!

The baffles were removed to save weight as Stainless is heavy and because they were unnecessary, as Carl stated, the pickups do the job perfectly of draining the tank DRY! :innocent:

Rick's has not raised their prices in 5 years and they have seen many price increases in cost of materials so the savings in a few pieces of baffling are nothing really.

Have confidence guys, the Vaporworx system is still the TOP fuel delivery system in the business!

Thanks
Matt

I have a vaporworx module in a tank with no baffles or corner pickups.

I had no fuel starvation on the street right up until I ran out of gas...

I've done two track days with it now and the recent track day I was down to around 1/8th of a tank and still no fuel starvation issues. That is on a track with several really long high G corners too (~1g+ lasting 15 seconds).
