March 10th, 11th, and 12th... Maybe Lonestar Goodguys or the Optima Challenge in Texas might be its maiden track event? Should be a cool build to watch.

Right now we intend to debut the 48 Hour Corvette at the NCM track in Bowling Green the day after the build is complete. Then it will appear at both the Ft. Worth Goodguys show and the Optima event the following weekend. After that it will continue to make our normal circuit of Goodguys and Optima events.
Here is a short list of the components...

Lingenfelter LS7
MSD AirForce intake
Holley EFI
Earls lines and fittings
Bowler / Tremec T56
Centerforce clutch
Baer brakes
American Autowire wiring
DynoTech driveshafts
Forgeline wheels
Falken tires
C&R Radiator / fans / oilo cooler module
Hooker headers
Kicker Stereo
Classic Instruments gauges
Vintage Air front runner and A/C
Custom Image Corvette glass bumpers
Vaporworx fuel delivery system

...and some cool RideTech suspension stuff :)

You'll see the Fedex truck backed up to the door with a bunch of stuff from Summit Racing as well...heat and sound insulation...seats...gaskets...sealers...fluids... all the stuff that seems to get forgotten about!

The bad part...I don't get to drive it. Chris Smith will be the driver. You may have seen his 67 C10 truck on the Optima shows. It was kinda fast.

More soon!

We're also very fortunate in that we'll be there to cover the build as it happens. Thanks to Bret and the crew at Ridetech for what will be another incredible build that will prove it's abilities at several track events around the country.

Any pics of the car as it stands now available?

Nope. You'll have to wait till the first day of the build to see it. :)

Hint: It's red now. It will end up yellow.

Yessir...hadn't gotten to that part yet! Lateral G will be covering the build in real time as it happens. You'll be able to comment, pontificate, suggest, criticize, applaud, and opine as we build this thing. Lots of pictures, maybe some behind the scenes video, and certainly an informed opinion of the proceedings. Jody...looking forward to it!

It's weird, I don't see the luggage rack in the rendering....:stirthepot:

Looking forward to this! Do you know what side pipe mufflers/inserts you will be using?

Thats one of the things that's in transition. I WANT to build a zoomy carbon fiber/titanium sidepipe that is reminescient of some of the new sport bikes. Can we get it done for the initial build? Don't know, it might have a traditional undercar exhaust to start with. BUT...I'll bet by the end of the summer we'll have something whipped up.

The goal there was to have a cool looking exhaust that did not burn your leg if you get against it.

I'm open to opinions and suggestions on that subject. [or any, for that matter...]

I'm in the same boat. I want to convert from the stock side pipe covers to a 3.5" > 4" > 3.5" setup like you show in your rendering. I was planning to fab it out of stainless tubing and then use STS baffles inside the 4" section. The black/carbon muffler section looks great in your rendering and gives good contrast.

I want to go from this:

To this (but with the single upswept head pipe in your rendering instead of the exposed 4 into 1 showing):
