I don't get it either Marcus...but, it is a very popular style of customizing. These style rides are in all the major cities, have dedicated magazines, shows, a huge following on social media.

Other than the wheels, it's really not that bad. At least they did a good job.
We had a guy call us yesterday to try and order 3" LIFT spindles for his 70s Caprice. :hairpullout: |
I work just a couple miles from Riverdale. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for that car.
|
Well thanx for that, now i have to go wash my eyes out and lay down!

I don't like the car either but everyone is entitled to build there own idea of a dream car. I'm sure purist wouldn't agree with things people have done to Camaro,Chevelle, nova, mustang etc. Shaved drip rails, custom interior, fender flairs, flush mount glass, etc etc. His car his money. Ugly to most, yes,but everyone can use there money how they see fit.

I am all for individuality, BUT make it safe to be on our PUBLIC STREETS...These vehicles are so unsafe at so many levels they should not be legal to be on our roads..And yes I feel the same way about most rat-rods..

I don't get this trend at all either but this one in the video below is almost cool to me. I think it's because it reminds me playing with toy cars as a kid and this looks like a toy. I'm probably alone on this but I don't hate it. I never thought I would see the day when cars had 34" Wheels on them.

The ridiculously large wheels always reminds me of this:
