Tomorrow is 4 weeks if I read correctly, I'd get satisfaction one way or the other tomorrow for sure. You've been more than patient.

Yeah I was trying to be nice because they were friendly and I understand it gets busy sometimes but 4 weeks is plenty of time.

Shouldn't take more than 5 business days to process. And if they're so busy processing returns that it take more than a month -- better get your refund before they close up shop!

That's just simply piss poor business practices and I'd never do business with them again.

I Know how long it takes, 2 minutes! as soon as a return is received and checked to see if it is resalable the refund is issued. Here anyway. Try sending something back to Wilwood, it can take months and multiple calls and emails to keep reminding them.

Well everyone knows how quick Summit is at shipping parts. But when I return parts it normally takes about three weeks to get credit from them. I don't sweat the delay cause I know Summit but it does show that processing returns is not a priority.

Funny it takes them that long on the Summit side because when I send a return back to Atech I've got the credit on my AMEX within a week.

Finally got my refund just over 30 days from when they received it back. The company was street and performance. Nice guys but really busy and not in much of a hurry to do anything.

GregWeld 03-10-2015 07:35 AM

AH HA..... A short story. A buddy orders some stuff from them. One of the major parts was shipped wrong. No problem! They shipped another part right away... except that it was the same exact part that was wrong the first time. No problem! They shipped another... this time it was the right one. They shipped the first two and then the third without any returns being asked for or "figured out". Hmmmm that usually tells me the company isn't very well run. That's SLOPPY. It's WRONG. It's BAD BUSINESS.

The other two "wrong" pieces were never returned because there was never a demand or arrangements made for them to go back. So they sold one part and shipped THREE.....

Consequently --- I never did any business with them because I was certain they'd be OUT OF BUSINESS and I wasn't going to risk my money buying from them. The guy that ordered the parts was an accountant (actually a CFO) and was careful in explaining the first part being wrong and giving the company the exact right part number that he needed - yet they shipped the same wrong part. That has to raise a question about what's going on doesn't it? Taking a month to credit you back -- that's another red flag to me. It's either just sloppy back end - or it's an attempt to manage cash flow.... or maybe both... or whatever. Whatever it IS - it's not the right way to do business.

they do not have the best business pratices. Wouldn't buy anything from those guys. period!
