It would be just another project for me. I need unbox and plug in or it will just be one more thing on the list.

That looks too slow for metal work.

If I buy the 8000 SFPM Burr King am I ever going to wish I bought the variable speed instead? Its a big jump in price.

I bought the 8000 rpm Burr King a couple of months ago and so far haven't wished I had the variable speed. It is a big jump in price!

Enco has a 20% off and free shipping sale today on top of other discounts. If you are interested in the Kalamazoo you can pick it up for $327 to your door. Screen shot below shows before 20% off. That's pretty darn cheap to try out. Graham08 has said many times he likes his a lot. Just putting it out there for everyone. I think I may pick one up myself.

I've been using this belt grinder for a few years. Not a single issue. Works great.

I hope I haven't said it THAT many times, I haven't been here that long!

That's exactly how I got mine. It's a good thing to be on Enco's mailing list, they run these deals from time to time and you can save a bunch. I got my Kurt vise the same way...20% off plus free shipping. Hard to go wrong that way.

Of your 13 posts 2 have been about the grinder in some way. That's a pretty strong ratio but it's all good Only reason I know is because I started the other thread about shop equipment.

Enco does certainly have some good deals come up. I shouldn't spend any money right now but can't help myself....

MOST IMPORTANTLY BUY AMERICAN. the chinese made stuff might be nice at first but 5 years later at most it will be junk. Belt sander BURR KING bead roller LAZZE or MITLER BROS.

Dont be fooled buy look a likes at less cost or with maybe some additional features that wont last or are not needed.
