I think XRP carries something like the smooth hose, but not sure if that's it.

Swain any idea when they are going to release the kits again? i am about to get my car started and need a intake now. also are they not doing the heat shield anymore?

Thanks for the suggestions guys.... I ended up piecing together a system from Spectre Performance. Aluminum 4" tubes and couplers, etc...

The 4" tube support they sell is great as well.

I had the whole kit on my last build and the shield would not work well with my aftermarket sub frame.


If you run the filter up behind the headlight with the 90* tube you do not need the shield.

I believe those are tech afx hoses.

I agree with Built my own custom closeout / air box on the Pass side, and the entire filter is inside the fender
