Spend the dough on a quality cooling system. I have champion and may now know why my car always seams to run on the hotter side. I've been fighting heat for a while. It does OK but hits 220+ pretty quick with autocross runs being as frequent as 1 every 5 minutes. 10 minutes on the road course in 85* temps gets above 220. Same temp issues on the hwy in hundred degree heat with the AC on. Its bearable but I would like it to be cooler. Im running a MARK VIII fan as well.

I still have my old champion radiator. You can have it. It had less than 3 months on it. It is like brand new, except I cut the tanks off. You can fab up some tanks and weld it back together.

I have a friend with the same champion radiator as I have. His is a couple of years old. It has a small leak. Maybe you can get both and combine them together to make one.

Thank you but I just bought a new one last night. I figured I would give Champion a try and see what happens. Unfortunatley I dont have the budget for an $800 radiator so I will take my chances and get my car back on the road.

The griffin I bought was $300. Works great. From Summit.
Like I said, the champion worked well on the street.

I have a 77 TA and I just bought a 2 core champion. There were lots of good reviews on performance years from other guys who had them. I haven't ran it yet, but am hoping for the best. Like I said, look on performance years. There r a lot of guys there who ran them in their 2nd gens who love em. For $180 I thought I'd try it

I went ahead and bought a champion. So far I have only put a few miles on it but so far I'm impressed. For the price it seems good quality

Those look nice, where were they when I was looking lol

I've read that there may be some issues with tri-pass radiators creating too much flow restriction on the water pump. I'd like to get an opinion from the gallery on this subject. Dual-pass is pretty common but this is the first I have seen of a tri-pass.
