Thanks for the pics and tips on the exhaust Mike, they'll be helpful for sure. It's coming from a guy over on PT.com, "cdog" is his name there.

I've got LD installation instructions and some pictures that might be helpful if you pull the trigger. That setup is also missing the sheet metal close out panel for the trunk, but any decent sheet metal shop should be able to make one pretty cheaply.

That would be awesome Mike although he says he has the install instructions with it. Either way I'm more than happy to hear any tips from people that have actually put one in. I'm not near as worried about making a trunk close out panel as I am dealing with already undercoated sheet metal. I'm going to try to make a deal on it, but not for that price, as I'm just not buying that rear crossmember is an orig. LD piece.

The crossmember looks original to me. It's missing the small braces but I doubt they do much anyway. You need to have the cutouts but I'd mock things up with shocks before doing the cutouts. You want to have at least 1.5" clearance from shock to exhaust pipe. Mock up shock clearance before welding in the crossmember. On the One Lap Camaro there was barely clearance to the shock hose, which had to point inward because it wouldn't fit pointing towards the frame rails.
