No blue...
All my engine details...my hood hinges...my wheels...all brushed aluminum.. My original plan was to do brushed bumpers... None of those seem to jive with purple.... that part of my issue with the purple too.... I'm considering some of the silvers and grays, but there are a ton of cars in those colors too... LOVED the Goolsby 69 Mustang at SEMA..... I told my painter its like getting married..... you date a lot of " I likes" and you are just searching for the ONE that will hit you in the face with "that's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with"....I just cant seem to find her.... |

Ruby Red is great color. A buddy just painted a 40's Plymouth that color.
PM me your cell and ill shoot the picture from my phone to you. |
How about purple with matte silver, like above, to tie in with the brushed wheels, etc.
I had the same wheels which, like you, I bought before finalizing the color scheme. Ended up changing the center and back of the hoops to matte black then hand brushed the outer hoops. Super easy to do with a red scotchbrite pad. Easy to maintain too. |
Purple over red anyday. Everyone and their mom has a red car.
Im painting my next car purple also. |
