Ahh, I now see what you've got.
Before changing springs you need to get rid of the spacers first. The shock is sitting with very little stroke in a vehicle with tons of suspension travel potential. This is a recipe for bottoming out the shock.

Appears to me as though you still have threads left on the shock body.
Can you remove the spacers, then spin the spring retainer to make up the difference?

This would provide more shock stroke for zero dollars investment. If the ride is still harsh, then change springs.

FYI: so long as the truck is not bottoming out 750# springs in any length will feel exactly the same. I don't care if the spring is 3" long or 30" long, it still takes 750# to compress it one inch.
So if you have stiff ride quality you'll need to go down in rate.

Thans for the response thats one of the reasons i love this place.

I had tried without the spacer at first but it sat to low. With the spacer it sits at the ride hight i'm after. I figured with a 14'' spring it would help me with that plus give me some more travel. When i had the spacer off i had the retainer as for as i could go but the truck sat to low and my camber was off.

Yes sir i understand no matter how long the springs are 750# is still 750# thats why when i do get new springs i was going to go down spring rate also.

This is the truck in question as you can see if i do bottom out the tires will hit the inner finder wells which the only time I've bottom out is with my wheels turned all the way and i hit a pothole. Thanks again
