I have installed several VA systems and never had a problem. Are the fans running max speed or can you control the speed from high to low speed? Is the system charged and cooling and heating properly?

It is not running at high speed and I can not control it. Trying to see if the white green wire from the blower control motor is changing the voltage when I turn the knob, not sure I have a good contact with the needle/pin I am using is making good contact. I had to walk away tonight too pissed off

I will remove it and send it back to Vintage Air, I am done chasing my tail. Their customer service has been very good there is just something that they have not seen and will set it up on their bench, repair it and send it back ready to go.

I looked at the routing of the wires etc and I will give tech another try. I think we are down to the BSC. Thanks

Two weeks ago before boxing it up I disconnected all wiring and put it back together. To my surprise it worked as advertised. I went on vacation and was back in the garage on Sunday and its back to its old ways with the blower not shutting off or operating correctly with the power on. I have a call into Vintage Air, my plan is not to ship it back but continue to work with Tech at Vintage Air. :headspin:

After talking with Vintage Air leadership they said there should be an insulator between the switch and dash if its metal/aluminum which it is and it may be shorting out. Sure enough that was the problem and I will suggest not only tech is aware of that but put it in the instructions. I now have a huge smile on my face.

Used nylon washers and its good to go.

I'll bet it feels good to figure that one out. I'm going to have to remember this for the future.

This was a butt kicker but it will help others to include Vintage air tech.
