Parts

Hey buddy, oh ya absolutely I will grab the nova for the parts even if I have to shelf a build until my current build is done.

Greg, not at all .. I don't want to hear fluff, i want honesty and thats what I'm getting.

I'll figure it out, but leaning towards building another 69' ... but possibly a convertible this time

cheers
Steve

Buy the Nova and take all the parts you can and build a Camaro.
If you want to make some money.

Okay --- having had a few '69 Camaro Convertibles in my time -- just remember to cure the cowl shake - or you'll be hating the car. So make sure you're planning on really tying the car together.

Years ago we got Stielow a Nova to build. I ranted to him that even though it would be cool, when it cam time to sell it would bring nowhere near a Camaro and would cost the same or maybe more to build. Wheel 2 Wheel-Kurt Urban built it into Joe Nova with the twin Rotrex superchargers. I think it even made the cover of Hot Rod. Really cool car that had about 250K spent on it. A friend bought it later at auction for 40 something thousand. He loves the car.:headspin:

How much did the Speedtech Nova bring? Wasn't it at auction when the guy from Australia bought it I think? I would assume that's one of the most recent high end Nova builds there are.

Wow. I remember that car. Totally cool and your friend got a great deal.

It should also be remembered that car was built as a "derelict sleeper" which must also limit its appeal compared to a paint/chrome/billet car.

But I know nothing about market values either.
