Brian drove it around again today with gas alittle lower. You can still see some coming out of it. I noticed whenever i removed my gas cap it released the pressure and stopped. Sounds like i need more venting.
Any ideas where to run the vent line too if you connect it on the ridetech filler neck? |
I'd start to the same vent tank and go from there. My guess is your problem is inside the gas tank, not the breather tank.

What gas tank are you running?
|
Ricks tanks, notched corners, with camaro fuel pump
|
The vent tube size inside your tank may very well be your problem. Your ride tech vent will aid in relieving the tank pressure. You may be able to vent it right to your current breather tank.

Did this ever get sorted out? I am looking at the II much vent vs the Finch unit. I have the same set up - new Ricks tank with Camaro pump.

Mine hasn’t done it since. It’s not the finch issue it’s the ricks tank having the vent port so low on their older tanks. My new tank will be higher. Don’t worry about it just buy the finch setup and install it
