Here is a video I made in my garage to show off the new suspension I am installing by Speedtech to convert the front from a factory coil to a coil-over.

I have been working on my video producing so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post them up. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

The car looks great, Nick!

You might consider this for putting EFI on the 383. https://www.eficonnection.com/

No reason to ditch the engine if it's put together well and makes the power you want.

Keep up the good work!

Speedtech ought to cut you a check for that vid - nicely done and very informative.

I'll put in my vote for FiTech for the carb replacement. Just don't use their Fuel Commander, go inline pump or better yet, in-tank.

Love your car.

Great job Nick!I haven't seen many satin powder coat bumpers. How did the process / outcome compare to spray satin?

your changes.

Nick,
Your changes really transformed the "yuppy" hotrod into something everyone would want to own. LS swap sure would be nice. just saying. LOL

I will have to research more about that company. Thanks for the link.

hahaha, well I like making videos and when I have a good subject to talk about it only makes sense to hammer out a video. I have been looking at FiTech and the Holley Sniper kits. Once I get the front end back on the ground and handle a couple other expenses I will figure out what system I will swap over to. Thank you for the info on the fuel commander.

Crazy but all I did was send my bumpers over to the local powder coater and I didn't have the chrome removed, just sprayed over the chrome and it's been working out for a handful of years now with no flaking etc. At some point, I will remove them and flush the mounting bolts and re-powder

It's funny because either people love it or they hate it..... on social the hashtag #blackbumpermafia is used a lot haha

Yeah yeah, I know LS swap.... just not realistic with funds for me on the way I would want to do it. When and if I have the funds I will for sure go LS.

No problem. I think it's a good option for someone with DIY wiring capabilities. You can find plenty of LS ECM's and wiring harnesses in the junk yard that would work well. Also, if you ever do switch to LS, you've already got the ECM and a wiring harness to control the engine. Good luck!

Update on my front end suspension swap, I pulled the front end apart and found this happening. Any suggestions on why this would happen or see it before?
