New install instructions, Product updates
 

Hey Guys;

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have updated our install instructions to talk about how it is A-OK to trim back the nylon braiding a bit when doing the install to prevent bunching up under the nut.

WHY?

Well we have got a number of comments about how much of a pain it is to install the nut when using our nylon/colored braiding. They are correct it is a bit of a pain but this should help.

Product updates.

Thanks to awesome customers like you guys here on Lateral-g this January has been our busiest month yet. As we said previously we have AN8 and AN10 in black available now. We are also getting the colored red/blue in AN8 soon.

AN6 in black has been the most popular product so far.

I have a question for you. I'm looking for hose which I can use to make a high-pressure power steering hose. It's my understanding that generally a special hose is required for the pressure-side hose. I see in your picture that you run a high-pressure for your test, but I think the key is that it has to accept spikes in pressure, not just static high pressure.

On your website you list power steering as an application. Do your hose and fittings support the pressure-side for PS? Or just the return side which is low-pressure?

We have had many guys use our hose and fittings on power steering & Hydro boost setups.

For the extra safety factor we recommend the use of crimp fittings on anything over 500PSI.

We are down to our last 30ft of AN6 Black hose and won't be restocked until March Week 1 at the earliest.

Also out on AN6 Stainless PTFE hose.

We still have AN8 in black, as well as AN10 in black.
