Glad you all enjoyed those!
They definitely give you a sense of what it's like - and get your adrenaline going. After one of those races I was usually on a serious adrenaline high for at least an hour after finishing a run. There was one more video I sent to Scott but it was a really big file - almost 3 minutes of in car footage. May be too big a file to put up. I'm itching to go back out for those again. I'd like to build a 70 Challenger that'll run that fast (or faster). John Buscema XV Motorsports www.xvmotorsports.com |
So badass. I need a ride in something that fast. I've been about 150 in a stockcar and that was pretty fast. I'd love to go 200.

Absolutely incredible videos John...
I love that fly by... |
I always cringe when I watch those videos. Tony Huntimer has some of Carl Chicca's '69 doing 190 MPH at Pony Express. I guess I'd be terrified that some coyote or deer would jump out in front of me and then it's goodbye world. Takes some balls to do open road racing. I got a lot of respect for you John.

I once rode shotgun in a rented Lamborghini Murcielago on a 200-MPH Autobahn blast. It was very scary...but also sooooo fun.

I was wondering
who made the racing seat with the special provision for those VW beetle sized nuts you have.
Everyone talks of going fast and running those types of races, but very few have the skills or the nerve to run that class. My hat off to you Sir! |
