AHAHAHA, But when it's finished and someone notices and asks you can say "Yes, 69 quarter extensions on a '68", declared with conviction as if they just bolt on. That's what I do when people ask about the hood on the Malibu above. "Is that a Buick turbo hood?" ..."Yes, it is!" .........

That's how incorrect info gets started on the internet. Years later someone types "I saw that done, I think it/they just bolts on" AHAHAHA

Thanks Jeff, and John for the ideas and thoughts.

Here is something I found on google that represents what I am thinking about for stance and color. I do want to put the vinyl top back on, and I have the trim.

I took the side trim off because I wanted to de-chrome the car, and somewhat make it unique to the Torino world. Too many GT's this year look the same. I have a 68 and I have been converting it to 9 tail lights because they have a slight slope to them and no side markers.

Do you have a build thread on this car?? I love "out of the box" vehicles. Thats why I did a Maverick. I like where you are going with this, would love to follow along.

Glenn,
Here is the build I started 5 years or so back. It's building a little steam now:lol:

Thanks for inquiring...
Joe

Rough it up good and spray it as the others have stated.
