how the hell did no one see them in broad daylight

They hit the dealership about 1am on a sunday night/monday morning. Pretty ballsy considering how well lit the dealership is.

Well, silver lining on this...factory replacement wheels are usually very expensive from the dealer parts counter so the insurance check should be pretty hefty. Should be able to get a high quality aftermarket wheel with new tires for the cost of your deductible. Still sucks though...

It wasn't just a couple months ago a professional crew hit a dealership about 10 minutes from my shop and took roughly 50 sets of wheels off new silverados, camaros, and corvettes. They said they was at the dealership a little over 3 hours loading wheels into a trailer.

They did the same thing at the Cadillac dealer I work for about a year or so ago. Cut the gate lock and pulled in a box van then went and cut the power to all the light poles before getting away with around 50 sets of mostly Escalade wheels.

My parts manager got me a set of take offs for my truck from ADI and then I ordered an LS9 accessory drive kit, tires and struts for the girlfriends SRX and two sets of wheel locks :G-Dub:

So long as insurance pays. Factory wheels are generally more expensive than the aftermarket wheels.
