Big Pontiac fan here, always refreshing to see one in an ocean of Camaros. I particularly like the 69 Firebirds best. In the short three years of the first generation cars the 69 was quite refined which is good and bad, one year only parts and Pontiac specific which makes it challenging to find quality original parts if needed but then again, that is what makes them so special. Pontiac's were always the higher end fancier cars inside and out so not many available, again making them even more special and rare today.
Here is a 69 for comparison to the 67 you are considering. Keep in mind that this has the optional Trans Am package. Tim john--- |

Here are a few additional pictures. All 69 Trans Am's had the same paint scheme, no exterior color options were available on production cars. The prototype cars (2) were both Palidium Silver but all production 69 Trans Am cars were Cameo Ivory w/ Tyrol blue tail panels, stripes. Interior colors, vinyl & convertible soft tops were optional as well as standard or deluxe seat coverings/door panels/dash, etc.

That’s a nice vert! 69’s are definitely the sexiest IMO. Firebird or Camaro. Beautiful body lines.
