Thanks. That’s pretty neat. I’ve been looking at something similar but forward facing to put in my rh mirror just to see if anything is coming close before poking the car out.

Don’t expect it to be legal or how good it’ll work but can’t hurt. Being low & lhd used to be hard to see around even a Corolla when I last had it on the road unless I ran wide over the fog line.

You mean this Corolla? I can't believe how low a Camaro can be.....

I think forward-facing would be REALLY sketchy cos the wide angle lens means that the oncoming car is so small that u can't focus small enough at 100m, and by the time u reacted it's too late. The image is not very clear at a distance either but prolly enough to see if there's something there.
My situation means that the blind spot car is traveling at the same speed so not changing size so quick in the screen. I can try it for you right now by rotating my camera to go supermarket shopping. I'll let u know.
Hang back a bit is the only way I think.

Also when making a left turn at intersection where there's a left turn triangle....go straight ahead as close to the concrete triangle so that you are almost square to the upcoming roadway and not 45*.

Gambit.......
NO, NO.......and NO.

I'm still cross-eyed from the experience. U can see the white Corolla (yes another freakin Corolla....neighbor's car) is so tiny in the monitor. And that's both cars stationary from 15 meters!!
Moving is impossible to work out what ur looking at till the oncoming car has gone past.

Haha yeah basically like that one. It’s surprising how low they are when you’re in them.

I wasn’t sure it’d work. Was just an idea to be able to see an object before moving over the centre line. Corolla was just one I remember thinking wow, even that’s a pain. At least you could see around them depending wheee you placed the car. Trucks were another issue again.

Thanks for the vision anyway! I’ve got the screen & wiring there. Just need to find a suitable camera then put it in the mirror & put the glass back on
