I have a McLeod RXT between my LS9-clone and T56 Magnum. I wish the driven discs had springs in their hubs to help damp some vibration. Other than that, I love it.

This is news to me, about the twin disc making noise. Mines not installed yet, but I do have the Mcloud RXT with a steel flywheel.
What kind of noise does it make? Is it only on clutch in? In between shifts? How's it just driving around? I've heard good things about Monster clutches... |

I have a Centerforce DYAD in the Camaro but in my street/track Vette I am running a Tilton ST-246 Cerametallic. I have heard really good things and track proven with near stock feel when coupled with their 6000 series TOB.

Yeah I'm still dealing with my noise....see my other post in the transmission section..
My noise is with the clutch OUT....in neutral at idle...... which seems to be the opposite of what others are having.... makes no sense since the assembly should be clamped together.... the discs and the plate shouldn't be able to move around and rattle or knock I had the entire assembly balanced by a local machine shop, so now I'm concerned they screwed it up.... I can rev the motor pretty high and don't seem to have a vibration.... its really hard to tell if the noise is there since the motor is loud and the bell is right by the headers etc |

Everything I have read, its clutch IN where it has a tendency to rattle, since the disc and intermediate plate is not compressed against the flywheel, so it has some play in it...
Reached out to Craig Meyer at Bowler again and he is also going to reach out to his contact at McLeod and see what they have to say.... Drove the car today...shifts fine, no noticeable vibration (only went up to around 35 mph since I have some other things to sort out first)...cant hear any rattle or knock but the car is loud and has no interior or windows, so at speed its pretty loud..... cant be sure it isnt there at speed in gear etc |
Here are just a couple links on threads where I found others with the same issue.

Very happy with my Tilton ST-246 Cerametallic and Tilton throw out bearing.

My buddy just put an RXT in his coyote swapped fox and T56, no issues so far, he literally just did it this weekend, has about 120 miles on it so far...
