I just half-assed it and made a empty dummy wp in stock location just for the pulley to stay in right place. But with this build I just want to make the front of the engine as clean as possible. Small, low mount alternator and idler pulley would be the ideal amount of accessories running of the crank for this. I'm using electric steering column with tilt and no A/C.

Your way was what I would have done if stock pump could stay.
I saw somewhere Davis pumps specs. Zero (0) perssure at full speed?!?!
BMW Piersburg still has 0.5 Bar / 7psi at full tilt. Friend off mine has run one of these for years in his twin turbo sbf.
Easy to buy (ebay.de) and cheap ~250€.
