Thanks! I had never considered blacking out the tail panel. Kris did not discuss this but I can see that it might look good. Well, it is not in the paint shop yet.

Tracy, your project looks amazing. :wow: Love the color combo and stripe, and your wheel choice. Please keep us posted.

I actually agree with Allen. Looking back on it, the tail panel would probably look better in black. Hindsight really is 20/20, but in this case it can still be changed. I avoided doing it back when were were messing with the 2-tone idea and never thought to go back to it. If you want, I'll gladly do one or two shots with the tail panel in black.

I like the new stripe a lot better too, I think it suits the car much better than our original idea. The car should look great once it's finished!

Wonder if the tail in gloss black would look good, with a matching pinstripe at the top going across to keep the theme with the stripe

zbugger 10-03-2006 06:11 PM

Yeah, I think the basic flat black would work well. One question though.... You gonna have to pop the trunk to put gas in every time?

That stripe....

could very well be replicated on the nose of your Chrager....It seems to have the same side view agle....

Hey, Tracy, i read you are planning on using C6 Z06 brakes....So am i. And i'm waiting on info's from Frank at GPS for a pricing and clearance issue specifications with the brakes on a set of Forgelines ZX3's.

Do you have your brakes and wheels yet? Any idea on clearance / need of shim to clear the calipers or anything?

Car is gonna look great!

Hey, tell us a bit 'bout that SRT8!!! I have one of my furnishers who has just bought a Magnum SRT8 and i told him i need a ride next time he comes by if he wants a future order!!!!

No, I have a Rick's tank and the neck still comes up behind the license tag as far as I know. The rendering does not show the tag.
