Yes you are right! I have my current project done and plummed. I had a hard time enough for modifing stainless brake line kit to fit my C4 brakes at in my next project i really need tools wich definitely work with ss tubing. And that picture wasnt from my car. I wish it was, i would not need to ask my questions.

Having tool wich will handle both metric and "standard" would be best for me.

So do all think this one would work with brakelines http://www.performanceplumbing.com/i...kit2_Large.jpg ??

As Kurt and Chicane recomended essexparts tool would it be better ?

Would this be good for flaring 37s for an lines http://www.performanceplumbing.com/37FlaringTool.jpg ?

Okay how about bending stainless tubing? More like AN lines sizes 6-8-10 ?

Gary has some nice benders as well, I use alot of 1/2 ss and the one i got from him is qite nice holds a great radius with out kinking.

The kit you show for the AN lines should be fine. Single 37 degree flares are not a problem. What you neeed to confirm about any brake line kit you are considering, is whether it is rated to handle double flares with stainless tubing. Stainless lines are much harder than plain mild steel lines. I have broken a few tools trying to double flare stainless. Good luck.

this is the hydro flare tool i have, i ordered an extra cone and 3/16" female die set, then remachined them to a 37* flare specifically for doing stailess line with AN fittings. for larger AN fitting on alum fuel line...i use a regualr ole manual 37* flaring tool

the tool also works great on mild steel brake lines doing double flares, and the "bubble" flares have actually come in handy a couple times.

For lines shown in the first post I use a 37 deg single flaring tool I got from Summit.
Stainless brake lines are a whole other story...
I like the look of that Essex tool. Might have to get me one of those.
