Reggies car is amazing if you only knew what GM Performance started with.
The car was built in less than 6 weeks. No excuses, just a reality of a corporate build.
This engine rocks! Reggie after his initial drive, said that he has never driven a car that pulls with that kind of torque for that long! This car is a real tire burner...

The LSx engine is awesome.

There's no doubt it's a bad ass car. I think it's great that Reggie built a g-machine - especially since he's more known for his collecting of rare cars. As for the LSX, it's going to turn the aftermarket world upside down. I'm not wild about the graphics on the cowl, but hey, the color is great! :D

It's going to be an interesting future between the LSX and the upcoming Dart block that will take LS heads!

Will the Dart block house a distributor? I would have thought that the LSX would have come in two versions, one w/distributor allowance, one without.

nice car, but I could do without the rims or the boring engine compartment. But then again we are known for being a little over the top with that stuff. :lol:

Ya know, with the popularity of the LS motor and the ability to run carburetors, I am surprised that someone has not come out with a cross ram intake/carb set up for one. Knowing the popularity of the 69 Camaro taken to the extreme, seems like a Balls Out 69 "Z" (note the quotes), with all the wicked stuff suspension wise, brake wise, interior wise, yada yada yada (I mentioned the Bisque, LOL) seems like a next logical step. 427 LS with cross ram that runs like crap unless its above 4500 RPM's.(Like the originals)

Wegner has a front cover for the LS motors that allow you to run a distributor. As odd as it may seem that a GM motor would have the distributor up front, the new RO7 (Nascar) motor has it up front. Another options would be the MSD Controller for carbed LS motors, it plugs right in to the COP and sensors.

I like the car. I have not seen it up close, but it looks like a really nice car that Id be proud to own.

When the car was uncovered at SEMA there was lots of chatter about what they started with and the time frame to get it done. IF what was said was true the car was rough at best (the GM guys thought they were getting a 2+ or 1- car). The whole project had a 6 week time frame that most of was eaten up doing panel replacement and body work. With that being the case I thought the car looked good. It was not built to be a show car but rather a driver to show case the motor. The choise of wheels was to copy the theme of the 2008 Camaro. I thought the car came out pretty good and would be thrilled to have it. It's not indoor show car material but it was never intended to be. Yes the gaps are 3mm and the panel fit is at todays new car standards which are light years ahead of late 60s standards. All in all pretty nice car to have in your garage.
