I like them both! but if I had to pick, probably go with the powdercoated wheels!.... where can one see more work from Carter? does he have a web site?

BTW, my vote is black chrome for the wheels.

I might have to ask Carter for another variation. :D

Yes, that's what I think would look good. but with a polished lip on the wheels and dark center. If you think it may be too much chrome, loose the big trim piece below the side glass and gutter trim...that's what I'm going to do...less is more!! But if you want the sinister look then the all black trim is the direction to go....

Are you going to use an intercooler? If so, you may want to rethink filling in the lower valance as you will need as much air flow as possible.

I would love to see this car with all satin finish. Including the wheels being satin as well. Not to many people go the satin look, i contemplated my car going satin when buying wheels.

So i am going to vote for the polished wheels.

Yep, custom intercooler should be on order soon... and even though the rendering doesn't reflect it, here is what we are thinking of doing - basically a mix of the 67-68 and the 69 lower valances... i would think it would provide enough airflow?

That may work fine but I may consider placing the lights out a bit further and doing one opening in the center were the air really needs to be for the IC to work to it's fullest....just a thought. :)

Is that your car in the pic??

What IC are you ordering? I'm thinking of ordering a Bell.

We talked about doing satin/matte finish all over but just am not convinced about durability vs. regular gloss/clear coat. I am actually thinking of doing the stripe in satin black for some color and texture contrast. Have seen that done on some cars and like that look.

I don't know if I would like that look... how do all the procharged/intercooled 69 Camaros get away with it? They have little to no venting through their lower valance. Hmmm...

No that's not my car. just a pic I saw somewhere that I saved for ideas.

Everyone seems to love Ron Davis IC's and highly recommend them altho they are very expensive. Bell looks good too. Not sure actually, but probably one of those 2... what others are you considering and have looked into?

This is what Jody did on the TT Camaro. http://www.camcojb.com/twinturbo/IMG_0750.JPG

I am also looking at a Treadstone IC...but leaning towards the Bell as I can have exactly what I want built...just need to confirm pricing. I would love to go Ron Davis but as you stated they are a bit pricey.
