amen... also at moderate boost levels, they do a better job of retaining heat in the exhaust gas so it will deliver be at boost early, also they arent as prone to cracking as tubular headers are (so im told) also they are about 75% less expensive...

Any videos ? |
actually its almost 2900 lbs, but thats with jaguar IRS, 700R4 tranny, leather interior, stereo and so on... but a cam and head lt4 with 18 pounds of intercooled boost and 98 octane does get things mooving especially on drag radials and a 3.55 rear gear and a 700r4 low 1īst..
im uploading a vid ill post soon |
here is a vid.. not very good, but its a video no less
its the turbo 31 roadster in the far lane... the one nearest to the camera is a vortech blown 32 roadster.. both were in the low 11´s on an unprepaired track, leaving the line from idle.. (the 32 went on to run 10.01 on boost and spray later btw) but i still think low 11´s si prety good for a first day out, no tuning, no testing, no burnout or trackbite... http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s...h_MVI_0659.jpg |
very nice....looking good

does anybody make manifols like those for a ls1?
|
i talked to Jeff Schwartz about just that a couple of months back and he said he weld up a pair of log style LS1 headers if you supplied the dimensions i think he charges 1-1.5K... he even sells turbos at fair prices, so you can even order correctly sized turbos at the same time..
