Im not trying to start rumors...just interested in what was being done to car? Hell maybe the owner wanted to make with the car even better......

I know the owner Doug Hoppe,the rear suspension has had problems since he has tried driving it,it is at there shop getting things sorted out.The car won't be going any where till Columbus.No rumers,just fact.Talked to the owner last week.He said it runs hard thru the gears,and will drive it.I've done sevaral interiors for Doug(including the mustang)and know he will put it to the floor any chance he gets.

Sorry the car wont be at Detroit this weekend. Mrs Hoppe called me and said they would not make it because of some personal reasons. Didnt say anything about the car being down.

I designed the car and know it inside and out. Plus mike and jim are top notch in what they do. It did go back to the shop like tracy said to get kinks worked out. But what custom car doesnt. Lets not start rumors......

well if what your saying is true......the car is back at the shop to have the kinks worked out then what part of that is rumor.....? :question:

i heard awhile back they were having trouble with the welds on the rear susp or floor cracking multiple times, who knows?????

The car is not being torn down - we had a few air ride issues that are being worked out.... we aren't sure if its a problem with the air ride system - or the installation of it. I guess we'll find out. Hopefully this will put an end to any "rumors" about this car - since I own it... hopefully I would know.
I do drive this car- it will be put to the test!
