I like the stripe!

ProdigyCustoms 08-19-2007 06:44 AM

The paint sure looks nice. And done quickly.

Steve Chryssos 08-19-2007 08:01 AM

Yeah, Jaek is extremely talented and totally professional. If you are looking to avoid "paint jail" and get quality work, Jake is your man. I figure we'll have the car home is a week or so and then we can sort it out in time for the XV Motorsports run.

The original rendering that I had Chris Brown do was a yellow car with a black stripe and RED wheels. Vin was over my house and saw the art hanging on the wall in my den and had to have it. We toned it down some.

vinz68 08-19-2007 05:43 PM

Thanks Jake and Steve the car looks killer!!!!! I can't wait to drive it. I think I'm starting to have some second thoughts on the wheel color but I'm gonna stick with em for a while. :_paranoid

dave96dcm 08-26-2007 10:31 AM

That car looks badass, it makes me forget that it is a Camaro. It looks more like a different breed of car unlike the thousands of Camaro's out there.

vinz68 08-26-2007 06:23 PM

Thanks guys:D

Jake, got any pictures up and over the rear with the exhaust?

68protouring454 09-02-2007 04:47 PM

sure do, clears by say 1/2 when fully lowered not as if he could and or would drive it that low, mufflers isolated and tails hard mounted, got 1 to 1.5 inches off bags and the closest is the pipe to the outlet on the carb version of ricks gas tank, i got exhaust wrap just to make sure. you take stock style tailpipes, cut the vertical so you can clock the over the axle portion to go straight back towards fuel tank, then make a 90 towards outside of car, then another 90 to rear tail panel, basically almost identical to the ones i made to clear the quadralink, of course this works with stock style tubs and non notched frame, his axle is about resting on the frame when fully lowered and the tailpipes are like 1/4 off upper air bar brackets.
these pipes work with stock width fuel tank, you would need narrowed tank but same design would work for mini tub, you just would not go towards outside of car as far

ProdigyCustoms 09-02-2007 05:51 PM

Cool, we would enjoy some pictures. And maybe a parts list?
