I have an 18x10 with 5.75 inches back spacing and I have close to that much or just as much lip on the rear wheels. Ill snap a pic for you later. I think its possible for it to have the stock axle width.

either way, I just minitubbed my car, so now I'm trying to figure out how much to wide/modify the wheels to get them to fit right.

Thank you!

The rear set up on this car is,

19 x 11 with 6" of bs.
housing is 57 1/2", rotor face to rotor face.
With DSE mini tubs. and the outer wheel house squared to the quarter for
travel clearance with the air ride.

On the 69's I have done they required a narrowed rear to get anything under 7" to fit right.

My 69 would need 8 3/8" to fit but it doesn't look right.

If you want I can narrow that rear end for you so your 5 3/4" will fit. Sorry, what year is your car?

Sorry for the highjack Andy but do you have a web site or build page we can peep? Love to see the fabrication work up close.

Also is this build going to be featured in season 3? Please tell Rob and BB to hop in and say hello. I promise we won't mob him too bad.

Well after a great start at the body shop....it would seem she is locked up in paint jail:mad:

went from a "2 weeks no problem" to week 5 and they have not sprayed the color yet....all the prep was done...block it, prime, block, paint you know...:willy:

Vince@Meanstreets 11-27-2007 09:18 PM

man you know that never fails and seems to be the norm. Any newer pictures?

monza 11-28-2007 12:03 AM

funny you say that...we actually are seriously looking into an in house paint/body shop...especially now!

no new pics as of now...but we're suppose have the car back painted "tuesday" (fourth tuesday in row)...

CRCRFT78 11-28-2007 11:22 AM

How about no passenger seat & Big Black will just use the backseat as his seat. Leave the trunk lid off and you can put Meaty and the Lil' Pony back there.

Any progress? Looking for updates to the AllSpeed website too! When do you think it'll be dyno time? I want to stop by and check it out.

AllSpeedAndy 12-13-2007 12:12 PM

hopefully it'll be on the dyno in about a week and a half...you can stop by and check it out any time:thumbsup:

interior is going as I type, that and last of the wiring will be done first of the week, then to finsh
the bumpers and trim stuff and then fire in the hole!!!

I'll get some pics up next week for sure:D

The wheels are going to be coated satin black with red centers w/black guns..should look a lot better.
