:wow: car is pretty cool. I never thought I would see the day I would say I like the bumperettes, but I like the bumperettes! The orange is a bit overbearing but it will be interesting to see the final product once the windshields are in and the trim is installed (assuming the trim isn't orange). Overall to step back, the orange doesn't look that bad tho'. I have owned an orange car, so I am biased haha.

The only thing I didn't see browsing over the pix that I think would be cool is a rear spoiler. On the 69s it just really works with the sloping rear fender, but that is just my opinion... the car is still really nice. And tho' I am not into the big wheel fad, the pattern/design of the wheels chosen really fits that car and I love the spoke design.

It will have the 69 rear spoiler. He still has a few things to do to finish the car. P.S the orange is BAD in person!

Great stance and low menacing look guys !! Very nice work.

Orange is the new Black - - if you listen to them boys in California.

I like it !

DriverzInc 11-30-2007 10:11 AM

True, us California guys like our Orange cars, but I still LOVE black too.

Love this car, love it. Once the new air cleaner goes in that will definitely finish the car off. Very street rod style... Or I guess the term now is "muscle rod".

The rear wheel lip is almost a little too deep, but that's personal taste of mine.

Great job! When do you plan on having the car done? Oh, and what orange is that?

There is no such thing as "too big rear wheel lip", IMO as long as it's all under the fender.

That stance is killer. I can't wait to see the final product.

I really like the interior. The low slung center consule is very clean looking. I can't wait to see it with the front seats in it

Lenie 12-18-2007 04:41 PM

Shannon, you absolutely amaze me. I really like how low and streamline the console is w/the hidden ebrake compartment then continueing to the rear of the car splitting the rear seats. Scott made a good choice w/you. Wish you lived near Seattle. Sweet Job!!!:hail:

Shannon, any updates on the interior? Enjoy the holidays.

Looks like the red one only orange..

He sure does nice work though, great fabrication.

I wonder how "Street Machine of the Year" will play out this since now that the cars have to be driven?

What's the ETA on the car?

Steve1968LS2 12-31-2007 02:31 PM

Man, that interior is amazing! :hail:

so...................what do your prices start at???? :D Say for a 55' chevy...starting point...no interior in the car...:willy: a driver...not a show piece!

PM if need be...

EBMC 01-10-2008 08:38 AM

That interior is pure art. Everything flows together so well.

byndbad914 01-10-2008 12:59 PM

wow, your buddy does some amazing work for sure. I really like not only the workmanship that went into making such a clean, defined interior but I also really like the ability to "see the future" in making such a great looking, one-off piece. The console is bitchin' with the sliding cover, the rear buckets are tasteful as well as bolstered to serve purpose, the center area between the rear seats is, for me, sorta reminiscent of the 60s Era Fords and Chevies with the speaker grill in between the seats like a 64 Galaxie 500 XL or an Impala SS and I always thought those were cool features.

Sweet car.

awr68 01-10-2008 06:18 PM

What headliner material did you use?

whytry 01-11-2008 08:18 AM

Awesome car, the interior definitely took some thought. Came out like others have said like a work of art.

bigtyme1 01-24-2008 07:10 PM

Where are you located, got to be one of the best looking interiors I've ever seen. I'm trying to make a decision on weather I should do it my self or farm it out.

MarkM66 06-30-2008 07:01 AM

Start with your first born. But it might be worth it. His work is exceptional.

Does anyone have pictures of the silver 69 camaro or a link to where there are pics. I have seen the red, black, and orange camaros he has done but not the silver one. Much appreciated.

customcam 02-21-2010 06:54 PM

I have looked at all the 69 silver camaros on ebay right now and do not see any that look like a Scott Whidby car, if you could please post a link to it that would be great. Thanks
