I paid more for the brake-pads on my Chevelle than I paid to purchase the car I've driven to work daily for the past 2 years... It's a '91 Bonneville with 269,000 miles on it, which I paid $200 for when it had "only" 224,000 miles.

:D Bring that truck to Minnesota and we'll do some racing on the ice covered backroads. Just be sure to turn the Stabilitrak off, these trucks get really pissed off when you back them in the corners in 4WD with the Stabilitrak on. |

03' Chevy Z71 red Extented Cab is my daily driver, but I have been driving my wifes 04' Ford Escape a lot back and forth to school. The escape gets good MPG and is easier to park in those wonderful college parking spaces.

The Boston T system! Takes a solid hour to go from school to the office. I switch lines in that time too. Although I can read the paper and drive! And stand the entire time packed tightly! Next Year! The NYC Subway system...which after a short experience this summer...is a bit faster then the Boston MBTA! |

Mine is a black 2000 Camaro 3.8L/5spd with a Hurst short throw shifter. It is fun enough to drive, gets good MPG, and is paid off. I have a limited slip rear and aluminum driveshaft waiting to go in. That is about all it will get though, since I am hoping to be able to afford a V8 5th Gen or a G8 GT in a couple of years.
My wife has a yellow 2001 Focus ZX3 2.0L/ auto with a cold air intake and throttle body. She enjoys the hell out of that car, but is starting to look around for something else. I am trying to talk her into a G8 GT so I can get a 5th Gen :D . David |
Daily driver
Managed to get the wife interested in a 2005 Impala SS. Found one with 22K on it. Good daily driver performance and much better than the Sebring she had. Now if I can do some upgrades to the exhaust and intake and maybe ratio rockers and a programer. Ya that will help gas mileage;)
