I understand. Separated by a common language!

dogs..... as in dogs bollocks, I take it you use the word bollocks in the US ie "nuts". It's shortened from "thats the dogs bollocks", so it means, "thats one really good......." or, another simple one is, "my heads in the shed" translation:- headshot or "f****d up" as you say seperated by a common language, :) English classes taken here, don't forget your homework  |
English is my second language, I usually speak Southern! ;)

There are those who have 69 Camaros, and those that wish they did! :P

Not me, like all '67-'68 owners...I'm quite content.
We're an exclusive club, the 'dark side' of 1st gen ownership. It's actually kinda fun being the bastard stepchild of the '69. Don't get me wrong, I love '69's.....I'm just messin' with ya guys. :D |

Don't get me wrong, all first gens rock! I just happen to be one of the "chosen ones"!! :unibrow: I'm just funnin', it's not like anyone else couldn't just go buy a 69 if they wanted it! |
[QUOTE=69rs]Not exactly exclusive. There were about the same number made all 3 years (give or take 15-20,000) which means there are nearly twice as many "exclusive" 67-68 cars as 69's. ;)

Nah, didn't think so:thumbsup: that makes ours exclusive eh! :unibrow: |
you know whats odd guys, there seems to be a desire set by demand. Here in australia there were a lot of 69 camaro's going cheap. 67-68 were the most desirable here for ages, but since you guys are all fighting over what decent 69 models are over there now, all camaro's here have become desirable.
The 69's were always on average 5-10k cheaper here, and harder to move. Don't get me started on eleanor, i had a 66 coupe years ago, because thats all i could afford at the time, now years later when i have a better paying job and more disposable income, i would have given my left nut for a 67-68 fastback, but now they have managed to climb out of my pricerange even further. I think it's because of all these people that have become 'enthuisasts' overnight, either drawn to the scene from movies like 'gone in 60', 'even fast and furious 2', and designers like foose, and the promotional events like ebay etc. I'm happy with my 68, and had to fight another guy off to buy it. |
hey steve I emailed you yesterday could you let me know if you got it?
|
so can i join your camaro elite club? or do i have to go pick up a camaro first?
