Stuart, glad to hear you had a good trip up to columbus and car ran great.Nice pic's with test car looks like you and daughter had fun:thumbsup: take care Joe.

Stuart Adams 07-15-2008 03:33 PM

Thanks Scott for the pic help. Thanks guys for the comments. Visiting the shop for a day and eating and hanging with the crew was really special. There are a few awesome Camaros, Novas and Chevelles to come out of their shop in the near future.

Driving from DSE to Columbus with my daughter was one of the best experiences in my life. We had so much fun and joy.

Traveling with the crew was awesome. I can't say enough about the quality and workmanship of the guys at DSE. The car truly ran flawless and got 21mpg in the process. They really care about you and the finished product.

I will get the car at the end of July.

Enjoyed meeting alot of people at the show and seeing some great cars. My daughter really enjoyed her laps with Kyle and Stacey in their test car. I'll post more pics of the interior and stuff when it gets home. Until then I hope all is well with everyone.

Funny, did you plant a bug in my car during our trip!! It came up alot, she has always loved 69 camaros, and she wants to have one built. Maybe in time. She will drive this one some which hopefully will satisfy her NEEDS and allow my wallett to get out of the ice bucket.

camcojb 07-15-2008 06:57 PM

Stuart,

I just forwarded your car pics to Don, and that pretty much sealed it for his next color. He and I have always loved blue and he was torn until he saw yours.............

Another great looking car from DSE. Congrats Stuart.

Rybar 07-15-2008 11:10 PM

Stuart, your Camaro looks killer. :hail: Love the stance, wheels, engine and paint.....well pretty much everything is perfect. DSE sure does great work and very tastefully done IMO.

slenning 07-16-2008 05:27 AM

Congrats Stuart, another first class car from DSE!! Looks great. I toured DSE late last fall and saw both of your cars being worked on. I can't wait to see your other car done. Holy #@%! Stacey told me I could look at it but if I took any pix or talked about it she'd have to kill me:lol: I think she meant it:_paranoid

I know just what you mean. One of my sons and I did the last half of the Power Tour this year. It was great spending the time together, we had a total blast. Glad to hear you got to enjoy the same situation. Nothing better!!

Payton King 07-16-2008 06:34 AM

I can tell you the pics do not do that car justice!

I met Stuart up at DSE and got to spend a little time with the car. Most picures make a car look better...not in this case. That car was as crisp as they come. Nothing I would do different.

I enjoyed having lunch with you and your daughter. You and your wife did a great job. She was very pleasant and a beautiful young woman.

Stuarts other car is what dreams are made of...

Glad to meet the bunch at DSE and have Kyle and Stacy buy my lunch, perks of hanging with Big Dog Stu.

Joe, sorry that I did not have time to hunt you down. I saw you when I first got there and then I did not see you again before I had to leave for an appointment.

68protouring454 07-16-2008 06:52 AM

great car, congrats

wiedemab 07-16-2008 07:16 AM

There were some awesome cars at Columbus, but for my taste and what I would use the car for it would be hard to beat your car Stuart.

I really like the functional OEM look that is DSE's signature. Great car!

Yeah Kyle Jr. is programming the volt meter and checking the dash. Very taleneted kid and did most of the work on the car.

The other Kyle is showing friends the oil tank.

Great Pics! I'm sure that was a fun trip. I'm jealous!

Rybar 07-17-2008 11:58 AM

Stuart, the car looks fantastic. Love all the subtle but very trick details in the engine compartment. Really like DSE's style.

BTW what type of headers are those? Are they LT's or block hugger style? They don't look familiar. Also, did you use the DSE subframe? hard to tell in the pics.

Yes, its the DSE sub frame. The headers were I think Sanderson ( not real expensive if I recall) which were modified then coated. Thanks.

I love the finished product. It's amazing how far the car came since I saw it in May. Increadible.:hail:

I noticed that you are running aftermarket fuel rails on the LS7, who's are they and did you maintain the stock injectors or have to move to the taller style?

Thanks
James

I will ask Trent and get back to you. Thanks guys for the compliments, really uncomfortable talking about me, just thought I would share a little of the cars journey. Probably post a couple shots of the final interior when it arrives and then I will call it good. Hope all is well with everyone.
