Thanks Guys I have a few more updates and we will be caught up to where we are in the build.

Recovery Room My wife put it in with the registry and they let it pass, and I was good to go .

Detroit Express Mike is the best fabricator i've seen .his shop is always clean, and he's so particular about his work. Everything you look for in a body man.

radrambler 11-01-2008 07:11 PM

Thanks I can't take credit for the work, only for finding one of the best fabricaters for the job. He amazes me. I wish my timing would have been different so I could have used a lot of the new parts he designed their so sweet. Have you ever checked out his site?

scherp69 03-13-2009 11:06 PM

Wow. Wayne, that's going to be an awesome build. Any updates? It's been a while.

waynieZ 03-14-2009 12:27 PM

Thanks

Mike's been sending pictures of my parts being preped but nothing new other than that. I did just buy a fuel log and regulator, and a an Electric Life power window kit with the factory looking switches. That was kind of a impulse buy. I didn't plan on buying them until later. I hope to get an update soon.

89 RS 03-14-2009 01:18 PM

Looking good. Bet you are excited about the car getting more and more done.

customcam 03-14-2009 06:31 PM

tones2SS 03-15-2009 02:07 PM

Looking good wayne.
Are you gonna show it @ the SUMMER NATIONALS when complete?
Id like to see it person.

waynieZ 03-15-2009 02:25 PM

Thank You 89RS and customcam I'm very excited its getting closer to being done, It will be a while yet.
tones2SS Thanks I will bring it to show but I,m not sure if I'm going to wait until it all done. I'm dieing to drive it as soon as its runningt, but something in my heart wants to wait until its done. I had to retire last year because of back and leg problems so the money came to a screaching hault. So it will take a little longer to finnish.

Killer car man that great work you are going to love it .

waynieZ 03-16-2009 01:10 PM

Thanks Kendal I Have been looking at EFI for it . I'm hoping to find one that someone isn't going to use.

eqt555 03-16-2009 01:41 PM

WOW! I thought I took on a huge project, yours is insane! I kept the roof, firewall, and trunklid. And I kept wondering why I didnt just buy a Dynacorn shell. Nice pic with the fivedollar bill on the wheels, shows the depth well. Should be bad ass soon!

waynieZ 03-17-2009 07:36 PM

eqt555 Thanks guys

CamaroPat 05-24-2009 08:48 PM

Absolutely amazing build! I wish my budget allowed me to go that in depth on my car. That will be a top level machine when it's finished, the best skilled labor and the best parts combined to equal much more than the sum of their parts. I can't wait to see the finished product, or even just more progress. Be proud!

Steve1968LS2 05-24-2009 08:55 PM

Very cool build and way to go on the bodywork, it's going to be way better than new.

waynieZ 05-24-2009 09:24 PM

Thank you guys. Its been quite a while but the finnished product will be worth it. I've been picking up some parts for the fuel system. I'm hoping to see the car soon. Thanks again for checking my project.

waynieZ 05-24-2009 09:44 PM

Steve I forgot to mention I got to see project Orange Krate when I was up at Compitetion Specialties to meet Tony and his wife when they were checking out Karma. I was hoping to get to hear Orange Krate run but I had to leave before they moved the cars back into the shop. The tail lights look good.

WaynieZ, glad to hear that the car is moving along. Any updated pics?
I was dying to hear Orange Krate as well. Pete says it sounds nice.
Maybe I'll hear it one of these days when I stop by again.
That is going to be one killer car as well. The taillights did look really good.

waynieZ 05-25-2009 07:48 PM

Thamks Tony no update pictures yet, Those are some nice tail lights.

waynieZ 06-26-2009 08:07 PM

I have a small update. I recently picked up a Classic Fast EFI setup from a member on here. I'm not sure if it will make it on the engine right away, but I've got it when I need it.
I also have a picture of My Fab 9 all welded up . Its only one picture but progress is progress !

waynieZ 07-04-2009 08:23 PM

New Goodies For FNQUIK

Thanks Lenie .. All those fireworks you hear today was how I felt when I got the brand New Fast XFI . It has the ECU and all the harnesses.
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...y3cCBKRUdk.jpg

I have two intake setups one is a Victor E with setup for EFI. It has a Holley 1000 cfm TB with all the sensors. The other is the World Motown manifold set up for the Dominator that came with the engine. It would have to be setup for EFI. I also have a Fast 4500 series TB it flows up to 2000 cfms. I would really like to use the Motown and Fast TB But I was told I might loose low end drivability. Anyone who tunes these let me know if this is a bad idea and I should stick with the small TB my motor makes 610 hp. As always thanks .

awr68 07-05-2009 12:07 PM

Nice score Wayne! Need to resize the pic though for the full effect!

tones2SS 07-05-2009 12:30 PM

Congrats Wayne. Good deal.
Good thing to good people!

waynieZ 07-05-2009 08:57 PM

Thanks Guys Tony how was Summernationals? Anthony if you can resize it be my guest Thats the size of the picture that was on E Bay. I tried to resize it on Photobucket with no luck. I ',m not that good with computers . Besides I think this is one of my wifes from another life it never does what I tell it to. lol
