Well, actually, yeah but that's besides the point:P Listen, there is a customer I have that's not selling his 69 to me and it's killing me so just post pics of yours dammit!!

Vegas69 12-06-2008 09:40 PM

Soon I'll have a full photo layout. Going into the interior shop Monday. After the new year I'll have video, and many finished photos. Doubt the managers is as detailed or drives anywhere near mine but more power to him if it is. Glad he is in Phoenix. :D

He's not in Phoenix, he's here in lil ole Sierra Vista, and it's not as nice as yours. I didn't mean his car IS exactly like yours, I was simply trying to get you to post up something unique about your that you may think he doesn't have. Maybe I'll go snap a shot of his and PM ya with it.:P

Thanks! Stewart Warner Maximum Performance line, 3-3/8" speedo/tach and 2-1/16 fuel. You can find a description of the gauge install here:

Alright...:D I'd have to say the overall look of the car. Shaved that, blacked out this, stance, and my ol loves to go for a ride. 600 hp and vette handling doesn't hurt either.

Lots of tedious work. Grind off raised letters and smooth off casting. Take to machine shop for lettering, many hours with exacto knife and high heat masking tape down in the letters, drop off to powder coater, and finally many more hours with tiny demel and excato knife to clear out the lettering.

If I did it again I think I would take a chance and powder coat before the machine shop. I was told it might chip the power but I would like to see for sure.

I have been doing mine in stages and by far the best thing was the LS1 engine swap. It is a superengine, even unmodified it is a blast and pure joy to drive.

Still a long way to go on the car, but so far mine's gotta be getting my C6 seats installed and working. Not too difficult but now I have heat & lumbar baby!

The smooth firewall that Finn's Restoration fabbed up for me is up there too.

Now that I think about it... I would have to say I like my flush bumpers. The front, pictured, has driving lights where the parking lights went. I also installed cornering lights in the front marker light spots.

on that note bill,, my favorite mod is my 6 speed. it took my turbo 350 car with a stall to entirely different car. It made it fun to drive and blast on backroads, and highways.

jst8a5.0 01-07-2009 06:57 PM

That body style typically doesn't normally appeal to me but that one is NICE!! I like how the paint actually continues on the bottom side of the car. I have seen so many times where if the painter doesn't want to crouch down to shoot the bottom, he wont. I like the details! Nice car!

Too much cool stuff in here..guess I'll throw mine in.

On the basis of time, money, and frustration invested, it has to be the truck arm rear..

how is that racepak working in everyday trafic.... does it get old looking at it? or is it worth the money??
