update!
I haven't updated in awhile, been busy with a bunch of small things. Here are a couple of pics of what I did this past week. Made a mount for my battery mount and modified the LS3 oil pan to clear the DSE subframe. Then I added a kickout to replace the volume I removed from the front and added a little extra capacity. I also added in a bung for an oil temp sender.

This car is simply amazing. I feel so inadequate as a welder and or fabricator every time I look at this thread:bow: Keep the updates coming, the fab work is absolutely killer.

Thanks very much for the compliment!
I recieved the e brake handle from Lokar today. Just finished making a mount for it in the tunnel. Heres a pic! http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k...ehandleweb.jpg |

Fitted the steering shaft tonight. It ran right into one of the header tubes. After some cutting and fitting we had an alternate route:fluffy: .

My God, tears are forming in my eyes--I can't tell if its pure hatred over your talent, jealousy of all your brandname parts, or just a real appreciation of your obvious talent.
I just asked my wife, it's jealousy. Keep us posted so that I can learn to deal with it. Do you have a desire to adopt a 37 year old son? Low maintenence, except for the jealous crying part. Doug |
Thanks for compliments Doug. I'm not sure on the adoption thing though. Society might frown on me having a son thats 13 yrs older than I am, but hey it's 2009 right:cheers:

Awesome work. Really like the fill tube setup. Are you using a Camaro tank? Or just modifying a Nova one?
|
Nice work...
