Stuart probably needs to jump in here
He knows of one, no bags, 4 or 5 inches from rocker to ground.

The rendering is a stylized version of the car I designed for a company in GA that Chris refers to which was stillborn a few years back when the budget fell apart. A buck was being built to mass produce C/F bodies that had a chopped top, laid back windshield, wedged body, functional aero underside, altered wheelbase, etc. |
Well then can you share the rendering you did?

Cool car but do you think it has more fab work than the G-force Cuda? |
Radical 69
Hey Roger, I was in your shop about a year ago or so. I talked to you about doing work on my 55 2 door post. You had a 69 camaro that you were building at the time. That thing had a killer stance on it. Did you finish that car or whats become of it. Im thinking of doing a 67 Camaro for my wife and wanted to see the completed project. Thank You, Chad

As for the black '69 built by Scott Widby, super nice car, but far from "Radical" IMO. |

Isn't Alan Johnson building a 69 like the cuda. I thought Bob Johnson had said that a while back. hmmm we need a spy

Here is a rendering of a concept car
That was suppose to be made of carbon fiber on a tube chassis. It never got off the ground. I cannot remember the name of the company but it was out of Ga.
Love the paint and certain aspects of the car....would change the head lights |
The name of the company was/is?? Evolution Muscle Cars. IIRC, a Doctor started it up.

We have done a full chassis for the Gen 1 that does not require cutting your entire floor out of the car. The 4" (or less) ride height is still acheiveable. Take a look at our '70 Chevelle that has a 4" ride height and is completely street and track driveable.

Here is the '67 on our full chassis. This owner wanted a higher ride height, more like stock, so this one will be sitting at about 5.5" with engine and full weight of the car. This car is tucking 345/30R20's under the rear which is a 28.5" tall tire as well. The car can easily go lower with simple suspension adjustments.
This car has a good amount of modification, not anywhere near as drastic as you are looking to do though. |
Steve Cook built a 69 a while ago in 04 i think killer engine bay, real smooth
ill try to find a pic of it somewere.same guy that built that crazy 55 :) |
Someone referred to this car earlier - I think they said Australia, but his signature says New Zealand.
It looks super low and is on an AME Max G. Here is the thread on Pro-touring. I couldn't find a thread on it on Lateral-G. http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sho...t=14204&page=5 Rodger - I'm sure whatever you and your gang come up with, it'll be BADASS. |
Sounds like a cool project Rodger!
The black one was on air ride and a 29" tall rear tire. Rodger with a full frame you can put the motor up in the car high enough to clear the pan. That's the problem with the front sub on a camaro it doesn't let you put the front as low as the rear. In the bottom pic the car was 3.5" in the front and 4" in the rear, but the rear could go another 1" lower. http://www.j2speedandcustom.com/jacam/blackcar06.JPG http://www.j2speedandcustom.com/jacam/j2camaro_v2.jpg |

This car is very nice. Never been a big fan of the grille though. http://www.stevecookcreations.com/im...amaro_d_05.jpg |
Killer thread and correct me if I'm wrong but I think the idea is to develop a chassis that allows the car to run at 4" rocker and frame height. The yellow car has rocker extensions but doesn't look right since the fenders haven't been modified. You can modify tubs for air ride but that won't allow you to drive it safely lowered.

Man that thing is straight!
BTW, happy birthday, Jeff! :captain: Quote:
