It was a little loud for the mic. GM is taking it to an event in Canada in late Dec. early Jan. Then we will bring it back to Indiana for some tuning. t will do the Canadian International auto show tour Toronto.Montreal, Vancouver. Jan - Mar.

Your welcome. Keep a close eye on this project as it is into its final legs of assembly and shakedown. There will be lots more pictures and video in the coming weeks.

How is the cab able to be removed from the chassis with a rollcage? I'm curious on how you executed that under the cab, I saw the pics for near the rearend

After lots of hard work from the crew at Hitman Hotrods We made it to Performance world in Toronto this weekend. I will post pics this week.

Turned out very nice did you guys make the covers and are the coils underneath them?

It is a factory LS 7 coil setup and the covers were done by xtreme custons.

That is one sweet looking truck! When do we get to see more video of it?

We will be making a few changes it will be about six weeks before it will hit the street. It has some touch up in the paint and we are changing the front suspension the geometry is not exactly where we want it. Then we will get it on the chassis dyno for some tuning.

Got to check it out in person this past weekend at Performance World in Toronto... Very nicely done!!

Update After a successful debut at the Performance World Show in Toronto picking up Five awards (Best truck, Best Pro Touring, Best Engine and a couple of others) We have Taken Colorado SPEED back to Hitman Hotrods for some finishing touches. Currently it is going through the installation of a new front suspension to correct some geometry issues. Once the suspension is buttoned up it will be off to Xtreme customs for final buff, then to MBRP inc. for the exhaust system and a summer of shows and events.

In the weeks leading up to the Performance world Show we encountered a snag in the build with a crack in the LS7 block.To address this problem we purchased an new LSX block this should with stand every thing we can throw at it. Here are some photos taken preparing for the show.

To expand on these covers They were built at Hitman hotrods and finished by xtreme customs. Covering the factory LS7 Coils.

The cab mounts were rebuilt incorporating 6" x 6" Steel plates top and bottom of the cab floor. The top plates were attachment points for the roll cage and bolt through the floor to the lower mounts attached to the frame per NHRA specs.

We have to thank everyone that came out to the Performance World show and the crew at Hitman Hotrods and Xtreme Customs for making this happen. There were alot of late nights in getting ready for this event. Here are a few shots from the event.

Installation of new front suspension is now complete and frame is off to powder coat, Then back for reassembly.

It has been a while but the Colorado SPEED project has arrived at MBRP for exhaust system, It will be on display in Toronto 9/11/2010 in the Meguiar's booth at import fest.

We have Colorado SPEED back at Hitman to finish the Vintage air plumbing and it will be ready to go to Vegas.
