Steve, Steve, Steve my doors are still open

Can you put -AN fitting off the Magnacharger for the intercooler lines? I don't see why not and that would look killer with hardlines or even a black nylon braid.

Funny you say that. Wait till you see what I've done on this car. Pretty sick!! I'll get a pic up tomorrow after I finish up the lines for the intercooler.

You're hired!

The car will be in a week or two.. ;)

Mine would run down (no AC compressor) and under the core support to the intercooler. Should be simpler.

Very nice work.. as usual

waynieZ 09-30-2009 05:49 PM

Very Nice.

customcam 09-30-2009 05:54 PM

That motor is sxc :unibrow:

Cool !! Thanks
It will probably be closer to the three week or too !! I have another 69 waiting in the shop for a full plumb jod as well. He's my number one priority cause he let me slip J.C.G.'s 69 in for the S.E.M.A crunch. Give me a buzz or stop on buy.

Hood clearance!

2 Attachment(s)
Here are some pics of what we did to get some clearance under the hood for the supercharger! We cut out the center section to gain as much clearance as we could & then cut up a doner hood to add a second layer on the inside of the cowl hood for strength & used panel adhesive! Alot of work when we could have just ordered a hood from Anvil that would have given us the same clearance but the customer did not want a fiberglass hood!!!

Al Moreno 10-05-2009 09:14 PM

That's going to look awesome! Keep the pics coming.

Did I read somewhere that this car is going to be at SEMA?

Cris@JCG 10-06-2009 08:33 PM

We should be done with the hood 2morrow!! ordering Anvil cowl vents to finish it off!

This build was selected to be @ HRIA booth but unfortantly we will not have it done.. I dont even have paint on the car yet!

bentfab 10-09-2009 01:12 PM

Here's a couple more shots. Finished exhaust and some plumbing pics. Car's back in J.C.G.'s hands. Thanks again Cris.

What do you guys think of the hangers?

tones2SS 10-09-2009 03:22 PM

Very nice.
Those exhaust hangers are pretty trick!

waynieZ 10-09-2009 05:42 PM

Awesome job on the exhaust those hangers are sweet. Nice plunbing too . Whos fittings did you use?

KPC67 10-09-2009 05:45 PM

Your work looks great!
What kind of bracket is that you used for the steering column to come through the fire wall?

Cris@JCG 10-09-2009 05:51 PM

All brackets on steering column are custom made by my machine shop!

Beautiful car, full of excellent craftsmanship. And Marks plumbing just tops it off:wow:

Two quick questions..

Are those hose separators custom made ?

And do you Mark sell those stainless weld on AN bungs?

Update on hood

6 Attachment(s)
Here is some new pics on the hood insert finished.. We ordered the cowl vent from Anvil to fit on the inside of hood but did not work so I will have to make one for this hood.. fitting up front sheet metal & checking last fitments so that car can go over to body & paint.. Also set the car @ lowest point of stance & wishing this was drive height!!:unibrow: Removing all plumbing, changing roller wheels, & setting in dummy motor!

tones2SS 10-21-2009 12:30 PM

Looking good guys. Great job on the hood.
Keep up the great work.

Al Moreno 10-21-2009 01:55 PM

This is going to be a very nice 69.

What was the reason for the double skinning the hood?

Cris@JCG 10-21-2009 05:26 PM

Thank you!!

That car is going to be amazing. I really like what you guys did with the openings on the firewall to access the subframe bolts. Do you guys sell those and if so what would a set run?

Cris@JCG 10-21-2009 09:18 PM

Let me see what it will take to machine another set & get you a price.. They were not the easiest to mount due to having very little area to mount.. I will post another pic of a different set we did out of sheet metal & painted them body color.. we call them firewall cage nut covers!
