did anyone notice how far back the motor sits in this thing? I wonder what kind of suspension/frame they used for this car.

ProdigyCustoms 11-04-2005 07:29 PM

they are building 12 only. The frame is 2 X 3 boxed tubing, with C5 suspension and a Viper diff. C5 front also. Funny thing is about 6 months ago I had someone contact me to build the ultimate Camaro, and I disclosed my C5 / Viper combo. And shazam, my buyer vanished and this thing appears. Maybe I am not the only one that could dream this up, whatever. We will do it much improved, narrowed and a nice wheel lip.

Personally, I think Kris' renderings from the magazines look MUCH better than the final product. I'm not really liking much about that car at all, especially the ugly dash and the wheels with no lip. Good ideas on the car, poor execution in my opinion. The price is laughable too

Guys, the pictures of this car do not do it the justice it deserves. If you saw it in person I'm sure most of you would have a much different opinion. Sure, there are a few things I would've done differently, but overall this car is killer.

There will be a major change for the interior on the Motion cars.

I loved it. I thought the body lines were bad ass. I have A LOT of pictures of it, I'll probably post them up tomorrow... but right now I'm recovering from Vegas. lol

Take a little quiet time to yourself and POST THOSE PICS..... lol

LOL..you heard from "Thrush"?

XcYZ 11-05-2005 06:22 PM

Larry and Joel from Motion were kind enough to stop the rotating display and allow me to go up on it, get ultra close and take some detailed pictures. Plenty more pitcures (and video :D ) coming soon.

Not in my world.

I'm sure they'll drop the price just for you though. ;)

The reality of this car is that it isn't for everyone and I'm sure they got into the project knowing that. It's a car built solely for collectors to buy and the average guys like you and me to sit back and complain about and criticize from the comfort of our office chairs.

Another bit of reality, despite a few things here and there, the car got GREAT feedback. It even won the GM Design Award for "Best GM Vehicle," so I reckon we did something right with the design. Though I wanted deep dish rear wheels...

12 of the "Super Coupes" and then a set of 24 (I believe) Phase III cars that will be priced to compete with Foose's Camaro.

Did you see the car in person?

Kris

One prototype (pictured) to be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson then 12 more built as Supercars. Then a set of 25 Phase III cars.

By the way, they've already sold 3-5 of the Supercars.

Any pictures reguardless of how good they are, cannot truely describe this car and how wicked it is. There is not a detail on this car that has not had some sort of serious attention. Nothing has been missed. Like it or not this car was awesome.
