Finally had time to get the tires mounted on the wheels :unibrow:
The owner decided to go with a 6 speed T56 Magnum transmission.. we will be installing that next week & with a Rick's gas tank & finish off the exhaust.. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...4-14125250.jpg |
Very nice. Seems like the slow economy isn't hitting your company too bad, which is a good thing.
Keep up the great work Cris! |

We did a billet access plate for the shifter.. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_0437.jpg Been doing some plumbing on the Brake system & hydralic clutch.. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_0438.jpg Custom fittings & distrubution blocks... got more coming!! http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_0439.jpg |

Looks awesome Cris. I totally forgot about this car! Should be killer for sure!

it has been awhile sinice I have had any updates on this Chevelle.. Since every panel from top to bottom has been replaced... We installed all the trim, bumpers, convertible top, & emblems to ensure that eveything will fit on final assembly.. The owner has asked that the fit on all pcs be better than did from stock.. Making all the last changes as required & should have paint in a few weeks..

This 68 Chevelle is finally in its final stages of being delivered! it has been a long jorney on this due to working on budget but @ the same time getting what the customer wants..
We are finishing up the interior this week! http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psqx62ixgf.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psinyja1wa.jpg Engine bays are one of my favorite things to do.. I consider this one nice clean & simple but made sure that it was not to busy.. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psvzsde626.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psollucrbf.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psla3igjrc.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...psfajecq8e.jpg |
Cris the car looks great, I especially like the job you did under the hood. It looks so clean with everything all tucked away. what are the tanks that are on both sides of the radiator, overflow, power steering, is the other for an intercooler reservoir?
Nice job ! |
Thank you sir!
Pass side tank is for coolant overflow & S/C coolant & Driver side is for P/S.. We make all of own custom tanks & breather cans.. Quote:

Chris,
I am really starting to like the less is more builds. The engine bay looks perfect and I am certain this car will have a crowd around it at shows. |
Great job guys!

Marty- I agree with you! less is becoming more of a theme of us around here @ the shop.. Sometimes you just got to take a step back & make things simple.. Plus it cost less.. We got the theme from this 67 Pro Street that was in my shop a couple of years ago..

We make our own threaded necks & caps but just used up the last of what I had.. Looking at other alternatives for the reason being of making things a bit more simple.. But will have to do something here pretty soon.. The caps we have can use seals & diaphrams for brake fluid but when comes to having to come up with something in BUNA Or Viton I have to make something.. so I think I am going to do something in a -20 cap because seals are alot easier but will have to find a solution to vent tanks..but that is the easy part..
