another 69 thats not as nice as this one. Only if it sells by the weekend. If not it get cut up, mini tubbed, quadralink, DSE sub and new paint

awr68 12-02-2009 06:21 AM

Why new paint? Looks good in the pics!

fletcherscustoms 12-02-2009 06:24 AM

Paint shows 8 of 10 easy. But if I end up doing the high end suspsension, brakes, and LSx swap. Then the paint needs to be freshened up also

Well the car left this morning headed towards Tampa to its new owner. So unless something changes when it gets there. I'll have to start over again and find another project. This car was honestly to nice to cut up, but the new owner is doing the full DSE treatment to it. SO its still gonna be one nice car

Yeah i'm crying inside!!! It was honestly the nicest 69 shell I have ever had, all original sheetmetal, slick black paint, and nice overall!! I'm sure I'll be over it when my guy returns back with a load of cash in hand

DOOM 12-09-2009 05:56 AM

Yes Chad, I have all crisp greenbacks waiting here for you! I actually just saw this post, read the whole thing and now i'm even more excited to get this car. As for what all i'll be doing to it i'll keep everyone posted but I will say most of my intensions are on the same line as yours.

fletcherscustoms 12-09-2009 06:21 AM

Chris,

You'll be happy with the car. A true survivor car!!! I've seen thousands of shells in the last 10 years. And to be able to find and count every factory spot weld is rare!! The underside of the car has never been sprayed with undercoat, just flat black primer. They don't come around often!! I know you'll do it justice

So, I guess the 12 bolt isn't for sale after all.

Glad to hear it made it there safe and sound. What are your plans for it?

fletcherscustoms 12-09-2009 11:38 AM

Glad everything worked out!! now onto spending that cash I now have!!! Anyone want to part with a 69-73 project

waynieZ 12-09-2009 12:35 PM

Check with Mike at MCC He had some projects forsale. A 69 with the body done was one of them. He may have one he hasn't started yet. I know that you know his work.
