Yea and its way better than the old days of spiking the lunch boxes up high in the rafters or picking up the apprentice by his bibs and nailing him to the stud wall.

I'm really surprised there aren't more "after Xmas" posts to this thread... I figured there'd be all kinds of kool tools - or kool car parts etc posted up... But what the heck do I know.

cool pump, and what a gift on the art work.

GregWeld 01-02-2010 01:47 PM

Thanks Chris!

I didn't want a restored pump... as I want to put this outside my "shed" between the big doors... so why "waste" a nice one on that.. and I had mentioned this to John a couple of times when we had seen the restored versions.... yet then again - some of the ones needing restoration shown
at the swap meets are little more than junk.. this one is just right!

The artwork is just kool too.. thanks. Much better Xmas stuff than ties and socks!!

If you needed some shoes - then it's a great gift! Have you walked a mile in them yet??

Games and stuff for the kids now days I H A T E... we used to actually play OUTSIDE! A ball... a stick... a can (kick the can)... whatever we could find. But times have changed. Can't send 'em outside anymore because the level 3 sex offender lives across the street - and he has all the "rights"!

Yep, I needed them and they are great. Walked a couple so far. And I agree about the games. Not my choice. I made my opinion VERY clear and it was ignored. But it is my house and I can controll the use at least.

The best gift was being able to have Christmas with my son and watching him open stuff. The look on his face was priceless. it's not about the gifts to me, there is a lot of other things to be thankfull for.

My brother in law (also named Eric) - and best friend of 40+ years - was told SPECIFICALLY -- NO GUNS (for Alex who was 10 at the time).... so he shows up with a bow and arrows... not fake ones either!

I'll kill him one day!

I had a lot of fun shooting that thing with him.

Leave it to family huh?

I always liked giving my nieces and nephews really loud noise maker toys. Just to get back at my brother and sister for driving me nuts when we were kids. I was the last of the three of us to have kids and they never forgot me giving those toys. Now it is coming back tenfold! I should have thought a little further down the road back then!

My daughters got me 2 tickets to the Daytona 500 :hail:

I've been wanting a porta-band to help me get my old cage out of the car. I'd been eying the deep cut Milwaukee for a while but they are large and might be hard to get into tight spots. Procrastination paid off again and the wife picked me up this new compact Milwaukee porta-band for Christmas. It is a good bit smaller, half the weight and 2/3 the price :) . I tried it out last night and it worked great. So much more controllable than the sawzall.

Oh, and I ordered myself a new custom Ricks stainless fuel tank for the Nova :) . Nothing else cool besides some photography stuff.

SWEET!! Now I'm going to have to go check them out.... Looks like a nice saw - and I've never seen a tool I didn't like! LOL

Love the statement about "nothing else cool..." Yeah Right! Like a new fuel tank and photography stuff isn't cool!... I bought both my college age kids new Nikon D5000's -- they haven't put them down since Xmas day... Alex even took his girlfriend to the zoo just so he could get some shots with the 55/200 that came in the kit...
