Got my issue in the mail yesterday, awesome issue! Course, I'm a little partial to the 3rd gen cover shoot and article.;) Nice work Eric.

Steve, thanks for getting some 3rd gen articles and feature in there. Some of those people that write in can't deny that you are trying.

I just got the Feb issue maybe 3 days ago...

Funny, mine with the red 3rd gen on the cover says February 2010 on it.

Dang.. you're right.. it get's confusing at times. Since we do 9 issues the whole "which months we skip" gets confusing.

Doesn't help that I'm currently working on May (turns out we skipped March instead of Feb this year)..

Nothing that you're REALLY going to like.. believe it or not we have a slew of PT cars so we try to spread the love over several months.

But I will check my rundown and see where you're falling. If your car was a third gen it would be in the next issue. lol

Don't worry though, it will be worth it.

Steve we need to start a pro touring magazine then!:_paranoid Give me a call..

buickfunnycar.com 01-29-2010 09:14 AM

I finished reading mine last night, really good issue.

I personally appreciated the coverage of the nostalgia Camaro funny cars, that was cool.I enjoyed the tech articles as well,Tony is great.

I saw Dave Pozzi's name mentioned several times throughout the issue and I know that was him hiding under the welding helmet,lol...didn't read mention of Mary one time, must be a record.:_paranoid

Awesome article on James Shipka's gorgeous Camaro and the pictures were just stunning Steve..!:hail:

Real pleased with my first issue, looks like I'm in good hands...

Rybar 01-29-2010 03:32 PM

Only if they give the Nova magazine to someone else.. 12 issues is my limit! lol

Vegas69 01-29-2010 09:36 PM

I don't think monthly is a great idea. It's pretty apparent the current setup makes for a great magazine due to the preparation time.

I see your point and agree with it. I just want more of that great magazine.

I agree. If we didn't have that little bit of extra time, we might be giving up a bit of quality at times. Plus it gives us the opportunity to get in some track time. You can never have enough track time in my book. Plus, I need all the practice I can get.

I see your point on the quality. I like it the way it is now (format and quality). And I guess if I had MORE to read I would spend LESS time working on the car. And later, driving it.
