I wish you good luck healing.

Take Care,

Ty

Thanks Ty, I appreciate it. He said "yep, it's torn". LOL!! I have to go get another MRA just to show confirmation of damage to the insurance company before they will authorize another operation. Once that is done we can schedule surgery ......again. :faint:

It hurts like a mofo most of the time. I was 30 when it happened. I am just glad I still have it, ugly or not. I usually win the best scar contests at the family reunions and I should have disqualified myself here.

But I got called out.

21 Broken Bones
200 plus stiches
9 Surgerys
Cancer - still have that but that's another issue

This happened to me on one of my many road trips to Kenny's. Seems my body isn't fond of Arby's.

Really where can you go and get 5 Roast Beef sandwiches and a Gallon of Sweet Tea for $6.00 and and get it at a Drive-Thru.

I am fairly certain it was the 4th Sandwich that did me in.

LOL - my goal is not to get anymore stiches I am pretty tired of getting stabbed by doctors.

My lasted issue is ultra low body temp (seem to be stuck at 95 degrees ) they have stabbed me more times then i care to talk about lately. The crappy part is that when i am out on my night rides my temp dips to 92-93 which is not so good.

My new goal is to not only look healthy but to try to get healthy

Wow, that looks like your shin is giving birth to Kuato(mutant on Total Recall). Glad you kept it, that is what matters most. My dad's brother lost his after two years of trying to save it after getting run over on his motorcycle on the freeway.

c10addict 06-24-2010 08:20 AM

This one happened last night in the shop... Guy was drilling a hole and the drill caught, spunand took his hand for a ride.. His finger nail fought a piece of steel on the ride and lost...

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...t/DSC06822.jpg

GregWeld 06-24-2010 09:46 AM

That's why you don't use twist drills on sheetmetal.... step drills won't do that... and they make a cleaner hole.

Having said that ---- that's just nasty! I feel sorry for the guy!

her "whats this scar from?"

him "skateboard accident"

her "whats this scar from?"

him "truck accident"

her "and whats this scar from?"

him "fire hydrant accident"

her "i'll bet each one has its own unique story"

him "not really, i skateboarded off a truck into a fire hydrant"

HOLY SH*T THIS HURT! I just pulled this smooth move 30 min ago out in my shop. I had one last project to wrap up my wife's Camaro for a show tomorrow. I was using a battery drill to drive a screw in, the drill slipped and the phillips bit went through my nail and tore it off. I didn't realize at first that the nail was gone since it was so bloody. I just thought I smashed th crap out of it. I found my nail on my drill stuck to the bit.

Beth wanted me to go to the hospital. So I googled it! Which said to go to the hospital. I called the hospital and they said there was nothing they could do. They just suggested keeping it clean, covered and watch for infection. They said it should grow back.

This post took like 20 min since I'm typing with one hand. :faint:

Hmmmm that may help with the pain, but let's face it I'm already short a few brain cells. :D

tones2SS 08-14-2010 07:55 AM

I had that happen to me as well. Not as severe as that though. I dropped 10 lbs. on my thumbnail after working out one time and I immediately almost starting crying! The pain was so bad. I eventually lost that nail and it grew back. Yours looks like it hurt much more.:willy: :faint:

At the time when this thread was alive I didn't have a scar. But, I remembered it and now I do. I had knee and hernia surgery. The knee scope was only 3 little incisions, but here's my belly button scar and it's new look or reconstruction so to speak. It's small compared to some of y'alls, but it sure hurts like hell.
