These look even better in person

Stopped by and took a look a Justin's wheels. They look really good in person. I see them in my future.

Finally got the new New Gen Lite wheels mounted up with a new set of Wilwood W6A and W4A brakes. Wheels are 19x8 and 19x10's with a 245/35/19 and 275/40/19 rear. Before everyone all worked up, the 4" cowl hood is on its way out.

Just curious, why are some of you guys so against cowl hoods? Are they considered more for the drag racing look rather than pro touring? Personally I think your car looks badass with the 4 inch cowl hood Justin, aswell as with the new wheels, nice work!

Joe.

I know this may seem like a given but I just want to make sure. The rims in the rear are 19x10 with a 5.5 back space? And the car itself does or does not have a mini tube? If not what if any mods did you do to make a 10" wide rim fit aside from rolling the outer lip? I'm only asking becasue I would love to know if you guys think this would fit on a 69 nova.

Hope I answered all your questions today John, without burying you with to much information. I can get a little long winded sometimes!!

Those wheels look amazing. Wish they were available last year when I had my car. Great look.

And I say keep the cowl hood just because!

No, Justin you were a big help and I really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me and answering what probably seemed to be obvious questions. I guess we are all "new" at some point haha.

Thanks again,
John

I dont know. I personally dont like the large cowl hood. I think it ruins the lines of the great car if its not a needed hood. The camaro has a nice sleek look from the side. And I think the large bump takes away from the lines of the car. Not a good look IMO if there isnt a large mill under there that needs the room. JR

Some before and after pics. Oh, just my messing with the pic, its not really an after pic.

Flat hood's a no-good look...gotta give Justin at least a 2" cowl man,lol.;)

I agree a smaller cowl would look great! (Nice Wheels!!)
