Thanks guys...we are trying to get "Nasty" finished this summer...
I'll post new pics when we get some more stuff accomplished. Actually we have the fuel cell in. I'll get some of the trunk posted soon. |
This is an amazing build. You guys do great work. I have a brother in Delaware and the next time I'm that way, I'll have to make a stop in.
This may be an off the wall question but I've been going over some ideas on how I'm going to mount my control arms on the chassis I'm building and am wondering if the bracket in this pic was made by your shop or if it was bought somewhere? Can you give me any details on it because that may be the solution I'm looking for? Thanks a bunch. http://i876.photobucket.com/albums/a...a-armmount.jpg |
Wellis77,
Check your PM's. |
Ok its been a while and Project Nasty is finished enough to take to a couple indoor shows. I just got back from the Detroit Autorama. She took 3rd place in class Street Touring 55 to current. I think there were 10-12 cars including Mark's project Red Devil. I met a bunch of great people and had a great time at the show. Here are a couple pics...

Really love you quality work you have done on Nasty!

Very nice work!
I'm just curious, was the big hood scoop necessary for fitting the 5.4L or did you do something else to fit the motor as low as possible? Matt |
Yes the hood scoop is that big to clear the supercharger and throttle body. You wouldn't believe the amount of work I have in the throttle body adapter and air intake tube...weeks... Also the body was chaneled on the frame slightly. The oil pan is very low to the ground. The next one that I do will have a custom oil pan and a much smaller hood scoop.

Very nice job! Looks amazing! Congrats on the award!

Thanks Brent ... Now to debug the car and get it ready for some autocross action. I'm planning on going to Goodguys Columbus!
