Ha - haven't you heard all of the story's. He almost took me out when I arrived at his house. He knocked a 300 gallon propane tank off a 10 foot wall.

I say he's seen God and the man is afraid of him and he keeps sending him back.

I heard it was four 1,000 gallon tanks, off a 3 story building. While on fire. And being shot at by Al-Qaeda. Blindfolded.

I'm sure you will. I'm also not sure that is something to brag about.

RPM HOTRODS 12-28-2010 06:19 PM

You know Rodger, Sometimes to get to the TRENDSETTER status!!!! You have to take chances, it just doesn't come to you and your friends can't vote you in. You have to think outside the box. I know you have it in you too.

ironworks 12-28-2010 07:02 PM

Thank you Sir Kurt, Oh Trendsetter of ye 2010.

I will print and frame these ever so encouraging words and hang them in my office. I will Heed these words every morning before I begin my journey to maybe just maybe were the crown worn buy you my dear SIR.

May I depart from your presence now dear SIR.

Thank you in advance.

RPM HOTRODS 12-28-2010 08:29 PM

Dude you can always call me if it makes you feel better. I can't wait till next year!!!!!!!!! Just having a little fun. Its hard to do in Pittsbugh this time of year. On another note dealing with this thread the car looks killer I can't wait to see it in the spring. I think its hard for the normal person or shop to understand what it takes to do the giveaway car to the caliber that they have been getting done to. You guys are doing a great job and I'm sure Tracy will wrap it up. I figure I better be nice since I may have to get you guys to help me with the doors on the next one. Cause I see how Rodger can get people to vote with him, hell even I did it.

I did not realize that I had not updated my part of the project on here. SO here are fabrication pictures I have for our section of the project.

Some Rolling Chassis pics before we tore the car down to send the body to Kenny and send the chassis to the coater.

The body went to Kenny's like this on a separate chassis with casters underneath.

Air cleaner construction photos. We decided to go with a stock OEM theme under the hood. Partly because we have to leave alot of OEM parts in place for Emissions inspection for this Specially Constructed vehicle.

The old swap gem Kenny sent to me from alocal Swap meet.

Afew pics of some pf the body mods.

The bumper fit up. I have always hated that it looks like the bumper sides were supposed to be longer. This was the gap we had after tucking the bumper as tight as possible. So we moved the sheetmetal.

We also made the wheel opening longer to the front. With the bigger wheel it just looks more proper.

Looks killer, Can't wait for Kenny to take me for a ride. I like that tool box in the background too.

ironworks 12-30-2010 08:07 AM

I think from now on they should give one of those boxes to the builder of the giveaway car.
